I wish to apply for admission to the Dominican Republic 2021 maritime archaeological project on the dates set out below. I understand that this project course with tuition offered by ADMAT is non-accredited, although proof of participation will be given. I understand that the participation costs of the project is the $2,000.00 US per week for the first two weeks for current university students and $2,200.00 US per week for Team members who are not currently students; for the diving and $1,250.00 US per week for non diving positions and those on artefact handling courses; on the basis of 2 week slots inclusive of all administration, tuition, accommodation, full board. I understand that this price excludes the cost of air fare and arrival at the accommodation, insurances, DAN medical and diving insurance as well as any personal spending and personal activities. An invoice will be sent after acceptance of your application form, where upon the full field school fee amount is to deposited into ADMAT's bank account. Fees will be paid in advance and collected by ADMAT.

ADMAT USA, ADMAT-FRANCE, Anglo ~ Danish Maritime Archaeological Team Ltd and/or their affiliates or related corporations, partnerships, agents, principals, staff or employees shall not in any way be liable for accidents, injury, death, inconvenience, damage, incidents, injuries, theft, loss of diving or enjoyment due to bad weather, losses of causes of action of any kind incurred during, or arising out of, or in connection with your stay at this field school or the use of the project equipment or personnel. Participants, whether they be volunteers, divers, archaeologists or students expressly agree to assume all risks associated with the contemplated activities foreseen and unforeseen. Team Members assume all responsibility for any medical condition and should consult their doctor if they have any medical conditions that are not compatible with strenuous diving activity. It will be a requirement that all participants, howsoever named, accept this clause when they make their reservation. They will also be required to sign the World Recreational Scuba Training Council Medical Statement, Liability Release, Safe Diving Practices, as well as any other ADMAT documents.

To reserve a space, you must pay a $500 deposit (which counts towards the total cost). The remainder of the cost will be due 30 days before the start of the elected session. You may make the entire payment at once to avoid extra Paypal or bank fees (but remember that your space is not reserved until we at least receive a $500 deposit). If the final payment due date has past when you sign up, please just make the entire payment ASAP.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

All payments are 100% refundable more than 60 days prior to the start of the elected course.59 days prior to the start of the elected course, the $500 deposit is non-refundable. All payments are non-refundable less than 50 days prior to the start of the elected session. However, 15% of the payment (-not including the application fee-) will be refunded due to a documented injury or illness to the participant or family member with justified and certified documentation. No refund is available for participants that choose to leave before the end of the course as defined by ADMAT. -We strongly recommend all applicants utilize travel insurance to protect themselves against unanticipated situations such as weather, injury or other unavoidable problems.

If for any reason the elected session is cancelled, all payments are 100% refundable, travel expenses not included. - Participants that do not participate on a daily basis in the scheduled activities will not be allowed to stay in the residency and asked to leave the course. There is no refund available for participants that decide to leave the course early unless it is for a documented injury or illness of the participant or the participant's family. -The program director reserves the right to expel a participant from the program should that person's behaviour compromise the safety, research objectives and general performance of the group, or violate the laws, regulations or customs of the Dominican Republic. In the case of expulsion, the participant loses all rights to the program (including room and board). In the case of expulsion, program payment is non-refundable. When making your payment, your bank will be able to give you the exact currency exchange rate.
